RESEARCH TOPICS

Hematological, Solid Tumors

My goal is to translate my research findings to the clinic.

Research Summary

We study the nuclear architecture of the genome and how it relates to the onset and propagation of genomic instability in cancer. We identified mechanisms of nuclear remodelling in cancer and described structural biomarkers that, among other features, enable the stratification of disease stages, the patient’s risk assessment and treatment response.

Goals

To enable cancer precision medicine based on nuclear architecture
To develop treatments based on nuclear architecture and its dysfunction in cancer
